Choosing an LED Mirror for Your Bathroom
A backlit mirror adds soft, even light where you need it most. Four decisions decide whether you will love it.
Shape
Ovals and arches soften a room full of straight tile lines. Round mirrors suit compact washbasins. Free-form "pebble" shapes make a statement over a vessel basin.
Size
Keep the mirror a little narrower than the vanity counter, and place the centre roughly at the eye level of the people who use it most.
Light Colour
Warm white (around 3000K) feels relaxed; neutral white (around 4000K) is better for shaving and make-up. Many mirrors let you switch between them with a touch sensor.
Anti-Fog and Safety
An anti-fog pad keeps the glass clear after a hot shower. Ask for a mirror built for bathroom use, and make sure the wiring is done by an electrician with a proper switched connection.
We stock oval, round and custom LED mirrors, and can make a size to fit your counter.
